All those cancellations make me sad

The Archie Coloring Book is not happening. I can't believe it. That would have been awesome. I guess Midtown Comics will not charge me the $7.99 for it.

No, any standing orders would be cancelled. There's always a chance you may see it turn up again in the ACP solicitations in another six months or a year.

I preorder it from Midtown Comics on November 25 2016 but it does say release dates may be subject to change

Diamond will cancel all retailers' pre-orders (that includes Midtown Comics) for those titles, so you'll have to order it again, if and when it's ever re-solicited by ACP. Keep checking those solicitations. This sort of thing happens with comics (and any other products distributed by Diamond Comics) solicited by various publishers all the time, so it's not likely that Midtown Comics would ever notify any of their customers of the cancellations.

This is becoming an 'Archie' thing. Just wanted to comment about the latest 1000 page book 'Archie 1000 page comic spree'. This book had a release date of October 25th. Well, at least it got released. Except that here in Canada it JUST showed up in stores. Been haunting my local Superstore like Sabrina's Uncle Ambrose. I guess with a 40% off cover price I have to wait 40% longer. As I said, at least it came out in print. Before anyone comments - I'll say it first. The 1000 page books are reprints of the recently printed digests, with all the non-Archie stores removed. I just stopped buying the digests recently, because of the lack of new stories. Will miss that. All we're missing at 'Archie' is the band playing 'Nearer to God than thee'' as the boat sinks.
