Tuxedo Mark: How absolutely pathetic. Five items, three of which are entirely reprints. Only two new 5-page stories for the entire month. Only two of the four "main" digests. And the story in the girls' digest features Bingo and Pureheart.

I like her art on Josie and the Pussycats so this could be cool.  I've been underwhelmed by Pete Woods.

The article states:  "It's also the jumping-on point for Audrey Mok, who has been working on Josie and the Pussycats (which comes to end this August with Issue #9)"

I don't know if this means JATP is ending with issue 9 or her participation in the book is ending with issue 9.

Archie Comics has confirmed that Josie and the Pussycats will end with issue 9.  That sucks.

DeCarlo Rules

I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Instead of replacing Archie's artist, they should have replaced Josie's writer.

BettyReggie

I really only like the covers. The first issue was best but the other were bad. I would only rent the graphic novel from the library.

Vegan Jughead

I loved it.  Sorry y'all didn't.  Hopefully the Pussycats will get their own book agains someday.

Where did they confirm it? Do you have a link?

I may just be in denial, but to me that article could mean #9 is Mok's last issue or it is the end of the series altogether.

I know.  I was really enjoying that book.  I saw it coming too.  As you say, it still hurts.

Purgatori

I've been enjoying Josie and the Pussycats, so very sorry to see it end. I am glad that Audrey Mok has more work because I think she has a lovely style. I shall continue to follow Marguerite Bennett and look forward to her Sheena of the Jungle
