Today I picked up this issue super excited to find something so large.. but yet again I am hit again with disappointment because the stories in here are stories that have been reprinted so many times I am honestly sick of them.



Every time I get a digest or any dan decarlo collection related item it's always the exact same let's say 20 strips posted over and over again.
Why do they keep doing this to us!?
There is literally millions of Archie issues. They even go as far as changing the colour of their outfits instead of actually just grabbing something else on file.

This actually drives me insane and one of the reasons I don't really buy any new digests.

Yep, the same thing happens with the 1000 page comics. They keep putting the same stories over and over again. 70 plus years of stories and they just stick to the same ones

I sent them a strongly worded email about this subject when I cancelled my subscription to ARCHIE 75th ANNIVERSARY JUMBO COMICS DIGEST. I had pre-subscribed before it even came out, only to discover when I received the first issue that all the stories in it were exactly the same ones (complete with the same text commentary) that had appeared years earlier in the BEST OF ARCHIE COMICS trade paperback collections.
