Jughead must be the most versatile character in the Archieverse. He can be as wise as Yoda, as manipulative as Machiavelli; he can be hilarious, crazy, loyal, sweet; and sometimes he can be a total jerk. This thread is for Forsythe P Jones' best worst moments.

I didn't really like Jughead when he wouldn't help out Betty in her attempt to try and save the forest where they played in their childhood. Mr. Lodge was going to tear it down and build buildings. Betty wanted students to sign a petition and Jughead refused saying Mr. Lodge would ignore it anyway and it wouldn't matter. I thought that was pretty mean of him to do that and not help out one of his friends. Not a great moment for Jughead in my opinion.

Wow, OS, you must have a heck of a collection of scans. I do remember reading that one somewhere before, but I'm just noticing it may be the only time I've ever seen Archie and Jughead use actual names in the prehistoric (retroactively all "Archie 1", collectively) stories.
