It finally occurred to me that cancellations of previously-solicited titles are such an ongoing problem with ACP, that there really ought to be a permanent thread to alert people to these cancellations when they happen. I hasten to remind people that that doesn't preclude the title and issue # in question being re-solicited at some later date, and finally coming out at some time in the future. However, it's also a good thing to keep in mind that non-ongoing titles like TP collections, magazine format, new #1 issues, and one-shots are especially at risk of that cancellation being of a much more permanent nature, and the title in question never seeing print at all.
At this point there are a few recent cancellations that I already mentioned elsewhere, so I'm not going to repeat those now, but going forward I will try to put all such notices in a single place, here on this thread, so that if people are wondering about any particular title, they can find this thread and check all the previous posts.
The newest cancellations I've just discovered:
ARCHIE COMIC SUPER SPECIAL #8
JOSIE & THE PUSSYCATS 80 PAGE GIANT COMIC #1
Can't say either of these is a major shock (although both are a major disappointment to me, personally), as the SUPER SPECIALS have been suffering from these cancellations with the last 2 previous issues (and I'm actually surprised last year's Christmas issue, #7, got published at all). The JOSIE 80 PAGE GIANT follows suit with the previously-solicited, and then cancelled REGGIE'S 80 PAGE GIANT #1.
I also probably need to explain that if you pre-ordered titles that wind up being cancelled, your order will not be filled much later if and when the title is re-solicited (unless you have some sort of standing subscription or pullbox order, with ACP or with your LCS).
What CANCELLED means: Diamond Comics has a standard policy that if a title is not delivered to its retailers within 90 days of the originally-solicited shipping date that the publisher promised, they automatically cancel all retailers' outstanding orders for that title. It can also mean that the publisher informed Diamond that the title would not be available by the solicited shipping date promised, and then Diamond cancelled all of its outstanding retailer orders. Either way the title would have to be re-solicited by ACP, and new orders for that title placed by Diamond's retailer accounts. In the case of the above-mentioned cancelled titles, 90 days have not yet passed from the target shipping date, so those cancellations were obviously made by ACP itself (probably due to low pre-orders on the titles mentioned).
Any word on the Sabrina 80 Page Giant?

I'll just be honest and admit to having absolutely zero interest in those titles, or the Dark Circle line (except for reprints of older material), either. If anyone wants to track the cancellations on those comics, they're certainly welcome to post them in this thread, but I'm not going to do it myself. The only thing I'll be personally tracking myself are the cancellations of Archie and Archie-related (Josie, Sabrina, etc.) titles - floppy comic books, magazine format, trade paperback and hardcover collections (if they start cancelling digest titles, you'll know The End is mere months away).

You should note whether things still come out digitally. The Reggie 80 pager did and is available on Comixology. The Josie 80 pager gives a new digital release date of 12/27/17 *probably cancelled*.
Thanks for the info, irishmoxie. Good to know. I guess that just turned REGGIE'S 80 PAGE GIANT #1 into an instant Digital Exclusive. (Is it available elsewhere, apart from Archie Digital?) I have to admit I don't have time to check all the digital releases, and usually just assume that print comics that are cancelled aren't being released in some other format. Please continue to chime in from time to time with this kind of exception. My impression is that this is the sort of thing that doesn't happen too often, but feel free to correct me if that isn't the case.

It's not on the American Netflix, only other countries like Australia. Netflix has already invested some money in Riverdale so if it does well overseas they are likely to continue to produce new episodes if it gets canceled on the CW. They've already done this with other shows. Gilmore Girls and Arrested Development come to mind.

Not sure how much any of you watch TV ratings, but normal CW ratings are way lower than the other networks. A .5 in the 18-49 rating is borderline but could be renewable for them. The same website linked on the original post tracks their own renew/cancel predictions based off a formula that's been fairly accurate. So those really interested can check their site each week (usually on Tuesday they update their renew/cancel posts).

I would submit that a large part of that has to do with ACP tantalizing readers with solicitations for comics that
they might publish if they feel like it, and then dashing those hopes by cancelling those same solicitations a month or two later.
Then there's the fact that the ones that actually do get published just aren't that good.

We actually have a Riverdale, North Dakota, but it has only around 200 people, so it doesn't have its own high school.
Always thought it was neat when I was a kid, though, to see that town on the map.
MAJOR UPDATE:
Trying to get this thread back on the topic of Archie Comic Publications cancellations, I went back through the Diamond PREVIEWSWORLD website, and checked out the archived cancellation reports for every month, going all the way back through 2010. Even this HUGE list of ACP cancellations isn't completely complete, though... I know for a fact of several publications (primarily trade paperbacks and hardcovers) that I did not find on the list anywhere. I'm not entirely sure how to account for that, but I suspect that the reports are generated by accessing a list of cancellation codes for every single product solicited, and I suspect that after a certain amount of time has passed, certain order code numbers for previously-solicited products may be deleted from Diamond's database permanently. I also encountered a few busted links to archived reports from 2010. ALL of the links for archived cancellation reports from 2009 (which is as far back as the archives go) were busted, as well. I may try to trace some of those unpublished but previously-solicited publications later on, by trying to track down the order code numbers. If I do find any of them, I'll edit this list to include them.
First, a little bit about the word "cancelled". To some people, that only means one thing - that a comic book series has permanently suspended publication (that would be Diamond's Cancellation code 09). But to Diamond Comic Distributors, the word "cancelled" means many things. Here's a list of the most common meanings:
Cancellation code 01 Lateness (under Diamond's 30-day Cancellation Policy)
Cancellation code 02 Will Resolicit
Cancellation code 03 Cancelled by Diamond
Cancellation code 04 Cancelled by Publisher
Cancellation code 05 Out of Stock
Cancellation code 06 No More Available from Vendor
Cancellation code 07 Supplier Increments Too High (Diamond did not receive sufficient reorders)
Cancellation code 08 Resolicited Item
Cancellation code 09 Series Cancelled
Cancellation code 10 Vendor Out of Business
On this list, by far the most common cancellation codes will be 02 (Will Resolicit) and 04 (Cancelled by Publisher). A number of the publications on this list DID eventually wind up being published, but rather than delete those listings, I let them stand as a record of ACP's unreliability when it comes to fulfilling the promise of a shipping date listed on their original solicitation of the product. ALL publishers have these sort of cancellations from time to time, but ACP's record as a publisher is among the worst, and it didn't used to be that way. If you look back to 2010 through 2013, their record was merely average for a publisher -- but it's gotten increasingly worse in the last few years. I've included titles from ALL of ACP's imprints here, and color-coded them in order to make it easier to pick out particular titles.

Looks like 2014 was the beginning of the end and 2015 they really went off the cliff.
Surprisingly to me because I thought I'd been tracking the solicits of TPs pretty obsessively up to this point, I discovered a couple of solicited/then cancelled products the existence (or 'proposed' existence?) of which I was completely unaware --
LITTLE ARCHIE & THE POWER PETS TP ? - A 2-part story from the final issues of Archie & Friends by Fernando Ruiz
LAUGH WITH ARCHIE MMPB ? - (Mass Market PaperBack) This would be the standard-size paperback book you'd find for most novels and story collections. What were the intended contents, I wonder? Possibly stories from issues of LAUGH, or maybe just another type of "Joke Book" with short gags?
Then there are the reasons given for cancellation by the publisher. "Will Resolicit" is no guarantee that that will be true, as I see several listings with that given as the reason for cancellation, that never actually were resolicted -- SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH COMP TP 1962-1971; ARCHIE FUN N GAMES ACTIVITY BOOK VOL 02; NEW CRUSADERS DARK TOMORROW #1, 2, & 3.
Nor does "Cancelled by publisher" guarantee that it will never be resolicited either, as I see several with that given as the reason for cancellation that were later resolicited.
And the special "Better Late Than Never Award" goes to... BEST OF ARCHIE COMICS DLX HC, first solicited in the JULY 2011 PREVIEWS catalog, which finally arrived as a real book... over five years later. It would have been a better book if it has been published as originally solicited, though -- 'cause, you know, none of that New Riverdale ("NOT the Best of Archie") crap taking up space in the back of the book. And not only did it take FIVE years, but let's remember that we're talking about essentially a hardcover reprint of a trade paperback that already existed. REALLY?
Oh, and I guess I forgot to mention this, but the PREVIEWS catalog date/issue # given in the list above is the one that was concurrent at the time the cancellation was reported, not the one in which the product was actually solicited. Maybe I thought that was obvious from the fact that I had cancellations listed under the February 2017 catalog, which actually just came out weeks ago. If you want to know what catalog the product was actually solicited in, just look at the order code #s -- the first three letters are the month, followed by 2 digits indicating the year (the rest of the numbers just follow in sequence according to the order in which the products were listed in any month's catalog), so there can be products solicited from several different months' catalogs among the listed cancellations associated with the current catalog's cancellation reports. Hope that makes sense.

SABRINA'S 80 PAGE GIANT COMIC #1 has been cancelled.
Seeing as how they had already cancelled the earlier solicitations for REGGIE'S 80 PAGE GIANT COMIC #1 and JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS 80 PAGE GIANT COMIC #1, I can't say that this one came as any great shock to me.
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG #293 is also cancelled. Rumors seemed to be that ACP was losing the license from SEGA, so this isn't a shock either.
