I know there used to be a funny/random archie panel thread, so here's one of panels where Archie Comics went in an unexpected direction, or wasn't as "family-friendly" as we are used to

Archie out of context is amazing.

This is one of my favorites:

I've never been able to find the context (nor do I really want to...)

:2funny:  Funny! Je les aime tous jusqu'à présent. And tank you, Trevore is actually more of a common spelling than you'd think.  Here have some of mine... Mes memes sont vos memes.  :coolsmiley:

I realize this is an old thread, but I didn't see the need to start a new thread because this seems like an appropriate place to post this image. So, I was reading an old Archie comic book (#198, 1970) and was kind of taken aback when I saw this panel with the words, "Kill the Fuzz!" Not because they said it, because I realize It was a different time before everything changed to "politically correct," but it just reminds me how times have changed. Back then, it seems they could make jokes about protest marches. It's still relevant today because we have protests against police brutality, but you probably won't see the words, "Kill the Fuzz" in a current Archie nowadays-at least not the light-hearted version, maybe the darker Riverdale version.

Here's one panel I just randomly found in one of my old digests, and it isn't a photo shopped one. I did a double-take when I saw it:

Trump seems to be mentioned, or appear, in comic books lately even more than Obama ever did (and his presence was relatively conspicuous). Indeed, there's practically an entire subgenre now of Trump comics. Here's a short list of recently noted solicitations:

TRUMP VS CLINTON: UNCIVIL WAR COLORING BOOK
   TRUMP VS TIME LINCOLN #1
(ONE SHOT)
HOW THE TRUMP STOLE CHRISTMAS (ONE SHOT)

THE TREMENDOUS TRUMP: A MAN-CHILD COVFEFE! #1 (ONE SHOT)
THE TREMENDOUS TRUMP: WORLD WAR T #1 (ONE SHOT)
TRUMP: PUTIN ON THE HITS #1 (ONE SHOT)

   MAD ABOUT TRUMP TP

Yes, President Obama had the nerve to just try and do his job in being a President, as opposed to our current Narcissistic Ninny in the Oval Office. That's why Trump gets the comics to me. Sure, Obama made the talk show circuits while President, but he did it with style and dignity. Now? It's a freakin' reality show 24/7...
