Oldiesmann: Interesting to see they're bring Wilbur Wilkin back from the dead again. I remember them making a big deal of it when they suddenly decided he was Jughead's cousin years ago - only for him to vanish again, much like Jellybean

Tuxedo Mark: How absolutely pathetic. Five items, three of which are entirely reprints. Only two new 5-page stories for the entire month. Only two of the four "main" digests. And the story in the girls' digest features Bingo and Pureheart.

Would these sell?

Imagine figures like that but as Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead and Reggie... you think they would sell? I'd buy figures like that in a heartbeat :smitten:

I collect vinyl figurines but I still haven't bought a Pop one. I'm waiting for them to make a Daria Pop. I was tempted by the Mean Girls ones but usually the Pop figures just aren't detailed enough for me to be willing to pay so much for them. If they made Betty, Veronica, Archie, and Jughead ones, I might just have to buy them. I have seem some customized Archie ones on Etsy. Hopefully with the popularity of the show, they will make them. That would be one positive to come out of the show but I want them to make them in the Classic Archie style.

Could have fooled me. That Fry POP! vinyl from Futurama could easily pass as New Riverdale Archie in a different box with an Archie logo on it. Personally, I've never been a fan of the Japanese-inspired derivative design of characters variously known as "SD" (superdeformed - a term that [while technically accurate] seems to have fallen out of use since the Japanese realized what the English word 'deformed' implies in reference to the human body [which is pretty much the opposite of the intended 'cute']) or "small body" or "CB" (child body, a.k.a. 'chibi'). But then, I don't like Little Archie either, so there you go.

Funko made these Wacky Wobblers (aka "bobbleheads") back in 2002 (alas, only the two you see here):
