Tuxedo Mark: How absolutely pathetic. Five items, three of which are entirely reprints. Only two new 5-page stories for the entire month. Only two of the four "main" digests. And the story in the girls' digest features Bingo and Pureheart.

Honestly, I'd read the story when it came out, and I already forget. I THINK it might be the issue where Cheryl became rich again (there was a short period after her return from Europe where she was merely upper-middle-class), which meant she could move back to Pembrooke, hence the smiles all around.

Of course, after this, Pembrooke seemed to be largely forgotten, and she ended up attending RHS (at least toward the end of B&V - not to mention Freshman Year and the AU of Life With Archie).

Now I just HAVE to know -- why they heck WERE they so happy?! To look at them here on this cover, you'd think they were all palsy-walsy like the Three Musketeers or something.
