Yes, EXACTLY. What "Eloise" said ironically was true. I'd LOVE to have seen what Archie would have done had he known, which he did not. What Archie had or was doing actually caused this to happen. And he was oblivious to it. The girls got punished, and he did not. Yeah, once in a while he got his comeuppance, but far too often, he did not. The Great Question remains: What do Betty and Ronica SEE in this guy??

What does it all mean? Maybe Veronica takes a little too much joy out of a crafting a devious plan, but who can say there isn't some truth in it? Hasn't Archie really broken "Eloise's" heart on many occasions? Of course as Betty she wants to remember only the good parts, and forget the bad, about Archie... but who can blame her for going along with Veronica's plan when he's constantly ignoring her/them to flirt and chase every new girl he meets? There's actually a lot of truth in what "Eloise" told Mimi, even if B&V's motives were selfish.
