Title: DIE KITTY DIE! #2
Post by: DeCarlo Rules on April 02, 2016, 06:43:50 AM
Wow, it just gets better in issue No. 2!  And hey, look! Dan brought back Assie from Dumb-Ass Express No. 1 (1998)... Could we possibly see an appearance by The Carneys (Linda-Louise being my favorite) in a future story? And they have superheroes lined up for issue No. 3, which I never would have expected (doesn't hurt to cover all the bases)! I'm loving it! Were the Bill Golliher single page strips brand new, or older material created some time ago but never seen before? It was nice to see Bill contribute something.

Can't believe nobody posted about this yet, it's been out for a few days now (I was just behind)!

I have it on good word that the Carneys showing up in their own comic is a possibility! Also, Ruiz's Iron Ghost!

Pretty sure he was reviewing issue #1, although he never mentioned the issue number... I don't think he mentioned anything related  specifically to issue #2.

I really have to read these comics. What I have seen has been fantastic.

Issue two IS really good. If anyone wants to try this series but doesn't have the money I'll buy them a PDF, that's how much I like it. Just PM me.

My offer's open for DKD 3 too (which was even better than the last one)!

Here's part of the preview:

DKD has a new publisher too, you can read about it at www.diekittydie.com/category/comics/ (http://www.diekittydie.com/category/comics/)

I honestly don't know how they do it. Issue #1 was great, and a worthy addition to any comic fan's reading list, but they've consistently managed to top themselves with issues #2 and #3 (and I have every expectation now that they'll do it again with #4). It's like they keep ratcheting up the FUN level!
