It's comedic. An instance of actual comedy in the reboot!

Unless it was a sloppy joe made with some really bad meat, or just a terrible home-made recipe or something, I assume the joke is that Veronica's palate is so accustomed to upper-crust cuisine that she finds "regular people food" totally inedible. I know I've seen the occasional instance of a vomiting joke in a classic Archie story or two, probably only modern ones though. Don't think I recall any instances of Veronica not being able to stomach the same kind of foods the other kids eat, though. She spends so much time at Pop Tate's, even if she would vastly prefer Gaston's cooking.

The joke would be her first exposure to Ms Beazley's cooking ... Everyone else has (presumably) built up a resistance ;)

Mr.Lodge

Jughead 006 - Absolute garbage from start to finish.

Sabrina 005 - Really good, especially the ending.

Archie 008 - Entertaining, good read.

I don't know that Sabrina belongs anywhere on that list or that's there's anything particularly girlie about it, beyond the fact that the title character is female (but you left a lot of those books off the list). Point taken on the others.

That was a constant source of gags for Bob Montana's newspaper strip -- somewhat less so for classic Archie comic books.

I read Archie #8- Fish cover. There was no Reggie in this issue. And Betty was just on one page. Who were the people playing cards with Archie's parents? Were they supposed to be Raj or Sayid's Mother & Father. You would think  it's Raj's parents because why would  Archie's parents want to hang with them now their son is dating Betty. And why did Betty fix his car again, I think she would still hate Archie for dumping her to be with Veronica.

Maybe now that she's dating Sayid, she's happy and doesn't need to be mad at Archie.

I haven't read Sabrina yet.  I have to go back and read the last few to get caught back up.  I've forgotten a lot of it.

I loved Archie.

I didn't think Jughead was absolute garbage.  It reminded me more of a Man from R.I.V.E.R.D.A.L.E story with the fast pace.  Maybe not the best issue, but I'll keep on with the series to see what happens now that they've gotten Stanger out of the way and are heading into what looks like more typical Archie territory on a summer vacation.  It does seem odd to me that Chip Zdarsky is staying on for the next two issues.  Seems like this would have been a good jumping off point.

I read The Chilling Adventure of Sabrina #5 and it was outstanding. I'd definitely give it a solid 8.5/10.

I'm reading Betty and Veronica DD #243 now.

Reading through a bunch of different issues from Wednesday, notably Jughead 6 .. I'd say the arc ended on a high note at least, though all things considered that wasn't difficult ...

I have been reading old issues of Sabrina the Teenage Witch
