I read each of these books for 12 minutes each.
The Archie Wedding-Will You Marry Me?
Archie-The Married Life-Book #5
The Cute Girl Network
BatGirl-BatGirl Of Burnside
Friends With Boys , which is by Faith Erin Hicks. I love that book. I love the way she draws characters that are guys, they are so cute.

Princeless Vol 2 and 3 - #3 featured my favorite character: Raven.
Yeah, I consider Book 3 to really be Raven Book 0 ... did you read the short stories book which shows their first meeting from a slightly different view?

That and Vol #4 are on my TBR list.

Anyone else having this problem? Since the site came back, it seems to always insist on putting extra spaces in between lines whenever I compose a post.

I have also had this problem. I don't know how to pre-fix besides going back and modifying the already submitted post.

Anything that looks interesting EXCEPT superhero comics. I can't stand superhero comics.  :idiot2:

The short stories are all either between books 2 & 3 or (fairly important) backstory; each has a different artist (all female except The Smiths) with a large variety of styles ...

I suppose you can at least be happy there's at least one other Archie fan at or near your library system ... :-\

I guess. I would like to know who is checking out Archie. At the main library it seems like I am the only one who checks them out. The other day one of the librarians told me that she hasn't seen any kids paying attention to those comics (they have them in the children's section). At another branch, close to the main library, they  told me the same thing. The comic I mentioned (Best of Archie #4)is at another branch I have never been to, on the other side of the town. So someone, I don't know who, on the other side of town, is a fan of Archie,too.....
I want to be able to read them before they disappear, because I've noticed that a lot of the AC are not on their catalog anymore. I guess, someone is stealing them?

Read these 2 now. Princeless Vol 4 and the Short stories tpb. Kinda disappointed in these. I didn't really understand where the story is going in Vol 4. Onto the new Princeless series now Make Yourself.

Could be that, because ACP is letting their older TPBs go out of print and not reprinting them (except for maybe a few, like Best of Archie Comics and The Married Life). That makes the older TPBs harder to find, and copies for sale begin to have "collectible" prices when you can.

invisifan

Also possible that they are just old and undesirable by the library's standards and put on "sale" carts to raise money, or beat-up by younger patrons and not deemed worth replacing

I just read Jughead #5-Thomas Pitilli variant. I'm going put in the comic frame next to next to the Reggie commission that Thomas Pitilli did for me.
