I read the reboot  Reggie and Me #2.
Why is the storyline so boring? It's sad 'cause he is my favorite character but so far this  reboot is not doing it for me.

The new Reggie and Me has too much Midge. She is the most boring Archie character. The new wrinkles they try to add for her are too hard to believe. Betty and Veronica have both been much nicer to Reggie than Midge ever was, but this series says she's the only one who was ever nice to him. I do not believe in changed premises just for their own sake, even in new timelines. They have to win me over with smart approach that make it worth changing. A talking dog does not qualify.

I got RiverDale One Shot & Archie Comics sent me one that I didn't order. It's the main cover, I really wanted that one. Plus Invincible #133 came today.

I read Reggie and Me #3 yesterday. It's MUCH better than #2. 

I'll read in while. I didn't read, I put new plastics on a lot of comics-Invincible & Archie & various others.

I thought the first 2 were OK, not bad, but this one was a huge improvement, IMO.

I'm way behind on my Reggie & Me reading. They're all lying on my pile waiting for me to set aside the time!

Last night, I read the latest "IVX" (yay!) and "Extraordinary X-Men" & "Uncanny Avengers" (yawn...).

Marvel is generally so yawn-inducing to me these days that I have to confine my reading to just the "oddball" titles like Patsy Walker aka Hellcat and Silver Surfer. DC isn't much better, except that they publish a lot more non-DCU titles that make up the bulk of my DC reading, and for DCU titles I've got just Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, and The Death of Hawkman (one issue left). Feels like I could quit reading Detective and WW almost any time now, too, except that I'm able to borrow them.

Loving all the reading time and disposable income they're freeing up for me, though.

How can he have written such good stories for traditional Archie titles over the last 5 or 10 years, yet turn out such a dud as Reggie & Me?
