  • DeCarlo Rules: It seems like they put extras on a disc because people expect them, or it helps drive sales, but more often than not, it seems like very little thought goes into the content. Of course there are some examples where the extras are exceptional, but usually that's not the case.

  • irishmoxie: I love digital movies and streaming. I usually get the Blu-ray Disc because I like to watch the extras the first time and then end up adding the digital code online or rip it and put it on the hard drive. Just much more convenient to stream it then search for the disc when I want to watch it.

  • DeCarlo Rules: On the other hand, maybe I should just bypass the Blu-Ray format altogether, buy a huge terabyte HD, and download everything. There's something to be said for that, in that you can get everything quicker and stacks of Blu-Ray cases aren't taking up space in your house, I guess.

  • DeCarlo Rules: This coming from a guy who still hasn't capitulated to the inevitable domination of Blu-Ray. It's getting to the point where I might have to relent, since I've seen some anime sets being released for the first time on Blu-Ray (no combo pak) with NO release of a DVD version.

  • DeCarlo Rules: I'll never get used to people not being able to wait a few days when they order stuff online. I guess maybe I could understand it IF it were something that there was no other way to see, but I assume you've already seen the episodes.  People who are that impatient usually don't even buy disc sets, they just buy it digitally or stream it.

  • DeCarlo Rules: The questions you ask about classic Archie (which is a cartoon on paper) are sort of "real-world logic" questions. A cartoon world, unlike the real world, creates its own rules and its own logic, nonsensical as that might be. Like Wile E. I had a busy day. My mom & I went to eye vision, I was able to sit my powerchair & have a eye exam. Which I need. My last one was 6 years ago. And we went to Lot Less. They had such a great find. Those Betty & Veronica notecards for only $1.99, we bought 6 of them . And we also went to Food Town.
Later on Twitter I saw the San Diego cover for Betty & Veronica #1. It's gorgeous. I definitely want it. I really hope they sell it on Archie Comics.com & my aide & I went back to Lot Less . And I bought 6 more of Betty & Veronica note cards. I took a picture of them . I posted it on my Twitter page also with a new picture of my wall. The frames are empty so I'll be ready for Betty & Veronica #1.

Ah those note cards are awesome BettyReggie! I'm going to head to my local Lot Less on Wednesday (there is one Lot Less in Staten Island, I am grateful its so close to me)

Years ago i found these in Lot Less (yes can you believe it!)

I told my mom as I had no money to get them when I got home, but she went back out, got them, saved them in a closet and gave them to me for christmas, I had no idea!

Today was a good day. I spent a portion of my morning relaxing in bed. A friend gave me a call on the phone, we talked for about 40 minutes.  I then got dressed, ready to head to the mall to buy some lunch. I spent more than I should of I thought the meal at Charley's Philly Steaks was $6.50 but turned out to be $11. I guess that was the price for the sandwhich. I then went to work. Today was my day off but I got asked for extra hours. Not upset as I could use the extra money. Now I am relaxing and waiting for my phone call from my friend (he gets out of work around 1am) we will talk for 30 minutes, then off to bed and tomorrow is a day for school and errands. Maybe I might check Lot Less tomorrow if I have time, I do not need to be in school until 6:30pm

I am thinking of making a big purchase of buying myself the Nintendo 3DS XL bundle from Kohls.com its $300 but it comes with 3 games included or it would of been $200 ( its $300 with tax). But I am going to talk to my mom about it, I got extra work hours this week and my job gave me more work hours next week.

The artist Thomas Pitilli is going be working on the new Archie book. I'm so happy for him. He draw me his first Reggie. I gave him the idea of having Reggie looking in the mirror. But his reflection is one of sadness. Because one the outside Reggie pretends to feel everything alright.
