) as I just read Snotgirl #2, but one thing that really grabbed me was Laura Allred's coloring of the book. The pages varied from brights to hues of pink, purple, or green, then darks, then back again depending on the characters present or mood that needed conveyed. Even if you're not reading the title, flip through a copy at your lcs if you have the chance. Seeing just cover images online don't do the book justice imo.
