I just brought a $32 metrocard. I need them to get around where i live since i do not drive 

 I got Archie #1, Help the CBLDF Defend Comics, Love and Rockets, and Grumpy Cat (and Pokey!) For free from Free Comic Book Day.

I brought Archies Jokes #471, Laugh #339, Laugh #328 Archie & Me #103, and Archie's Joke Book #238. This was all together $15 with 20% off. It was the only 5 older issues they had too. I'm happy. I like treating myself on Free Comic Book day

I went to Jim Hanely's Universe on Staten Island (they have a store in Manhattan also).

It wasn't too bad, I arrived at 12:30pm. The store opened up at 12pm. It looked to be more crowded by the time I left.

I went to free comic book day. I got some awesome comics this year  . I even brought some for my collection.

I went and brought 3 items from Fashionnova.com i just hope i do not need to return them. I am getting ready to go to my job to buy my mothers day gift then maybe get some lunch then go back to my shift at 5

Today I went to my morning class and then I went home to my fathers. Before that I had breakfast at Burger King. I almost missed my bus. I saw an old friend of mine. She was driving but noticed me at the bus stop. I used to work with her when I volunteered in a nursing home. She looks like shes doing great. Sadly we couldn't talk loner as she was at a red light that turned green.
I went to my fathers and took a 2 hour nap. I watched some television also. Once it hit 3:30pm, I was on my way back to school. However, because I missed my bus I was late to school by 10 minutes. It figures.

Now I am relaxing in my bed watching youtube videos and typing this. Tomorrow I plan on buying my mothers day gift, I am excited. I am buying perfume because my mom wants some, and I am going to get her a giftcard to some place she can buy food for lunch while at work. I might buy something else but I am not sure yet.

It's not just that she's gotten older and so the story material has changed according to her interests as a college student. The entire style and type of humor seems different (but the old strip seems pretty dated compared to newer newspaper comic strips). I was interested to see that the same cartoonist, Greg Evans, is drawing it now (and owns it, according to his copyright notice - I see he incorporated himself) as when it first started, so he obviously make the decision himself to give his creation a complete makeover. Does it still appear in any newspapers, or is that a thing of the past now?

It appears in the local paper in my city, the Staten Island Advance. Not sure if it appear in others

This is an example of where if you're coming into the strip with no prior knowledge of it, you're missing what's actually going on with the interaction of the three characters in this situation. If you don't know the existing relationships between Tiff and Quill, Tiff and Luann, and Quill and Luann going into it, you just have to scratch you head and ask what exactly just happened there? At a guess I'd say Tiff and Luann are rivals, but whether Quill is more than just friends with either of them I can't tell.

Yes, Tiff and Luann don't like each other, they tried being friends once but it didnt work out. Quill ended up liking Luann a lot

I will be going to my local comic book shop on saturday when the store opens. I want to make sure Archie #1 is still in stock. I might buy some myself too they had some older issues last year for $3

Im so excited for Free Comic Book day Saturday. They have Archie #1 for a free comic according to the Free Comic Book Day website. I am going to go when the store opens.
