Puppy Power all day. Scrappy was great.

You are going to h-e-double-chopsticks for that remark. :buck2:
Ha Ha, so many people hated Scrappy. Yeah he was annoying, but so are most puppies. :)

I guess I deserve negative karma for liking Scrappy Doo. :) ?

Betty would be my favorite main character. She is if I was a teen cartoon character living in Riverdale what I'd want as a best friend.

All About Archie / Re: Would you buy this?
October 01, 2016, 11:56:31 AM
I think there are plenty of great things they could do with Reggie and feel if fans didn't see him as so much of a creep they would buy a comic solely for him. The rivalry between him and Archie is great. Throw in his feuds with Jughead and his scrapes with Moose and that is just a start of it. I would definitely buy it in a Digest form as like I said right now the Digests give me more bang for the buck and are way more beneficial to me.

Archie: The so called ladies man who is actually an idiot and is always getting tangled up in stupid relationship triangles.

Jughead: The lazy, moocher who loves to eat a ton a food.

Veronica: The spoiled rotten brat who gets taught a lesson at the end of stories.

Betty: Kind Hearted Betty who loves to bake cookies and just be a goody-goody all the time. Even if it does make me puke sometimes.

Reggie: The friend who loves to prank all the time. I actually don't think he is evil to his friends he just likes to have some fun at their expense.

I would have to say the 70's. There seemed to be so much going on in the comics in the 70's for Archie Comics. Not only were the stories and artwork great, but all the little extra stuff in there was a lot of fun as well.

Welcome/Introductions / Jingles is jangling.

Hi. First off I think it is really cool that there is a site dedicated to Archie Comics. I actually have been reading Archie Comics off and on since I was a kid in the late 60's. There were periods that I read more than others, but I always found that the stories were humorous and fascinated. Recently I started reading more of the digests which sparked my interest again. Now being 58 years old and semi retired from my actual profession and now just a Part Time Dance Instructor to Children I and my husband do a lot of traveling and Archie Comics gives me plenty of reading material for our getaways. I mostly stick to the Digests as I feel they are more bang for the buck with all the stories you get in them, especially the Jumbo Digests. So that is a little of my Archie Comic life and by the way my name is Liese and if you say that out loud it sounds like Liz. :)

I really don't have a least liked character because each character has his/her place in each story. Yes, sometimes that specific character can be annoying but that is what the story calls call for. I could easy throw Reggie's name for his antics in just about every story, but what would Reggie be without that? I could also throw out Veronica and her spoiled rotten brat ways, but without that she would not be much fun. The same goes for pretty much any of the characters.

Last night I began reading for the very first time To Kill A Mockingbird. I'm liking it so far.
An absolute classic.
