I wish Sabrina would get her own non-chilling comedic series again. I'm sure the sales of the upcoming Jughead will help decide that. Or it can be chilling but also comedic like Meg Cabot's Mediator series.

This.

In the 60s-70s, in Animation, Sabrina had a near-identical cousin, with b;lack hair.
Frantic, reckless personality, name escapes me.

Oh yeah. What a shameless ripoff of BEWITCHED that was. Maybe because Sabrina's appearance in ARCHIE'S MADHOUSE predated that show, ACP felt like it was fair game for them to copy Samantha's "identical-except-for-being-a-brunette" wildchild/partygirl cousin Serena (Serena/Sabrina... OW, that must have hurt).

I guess it's no big whoop, since by this time BEWITCHED was already copied once on that same gimmick, when I DREAM OF JEANNIE introduced Jeannie's evil twin (but brunette) sister, Jinni.

Ya wanna talk ripoff?
In Betty Cooper Betty Cooper, Betty acquired an Uncle who was a Vampire!
Shades of Dark Shadows!
Or...was he a Cousin...?

The 1950s seem prime to me, for personal reasons.

I liked both series, and I wish they publish the soundtrack, again.
Old version was a limited release, & costs like Hell.

I love the whole, darn saga.
Except for the two recent movies. :tickedoff:
Star Trek is not Star Wars, and the Enterprise crew should not be teenagers. :knuppel2:

Star Trek, The Animated Series, is out on DVD, & worth the buy. If only for M'Ress. :smitten:

To know about the original characters, and their first appearances, Archie Americana Best of the Forties is a must read. :D

This, is the first ever appearance of Veronica Lodge.

Note--Veronica gets compared to Cleopatra,.
Over the years, she has worn a Cleopatra costume, more than once.

Even trying to establish a map of Riverdale is useless.
It's near the mountains, and the seas, and the forests, & major cities, yet it is isolated enough to avoid Big City problems.
Oh, yeah--it's also near a large lake, close enough to the coast for surfing to be popular, but near enough to a desert so that teens would be allowed to drive/camp there. And it snows, which leaves out California.

And there are Witches.

Therefore, right next door to Rod Serling's house.

Derek Charm cover for me.

I like Sabrina, & her full profile view is scarcely seen.

Perhaps an infusion of cash is what Archie Comics needs to succeed.

I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH ARCHIE COMICS, NOR WITH ANY INVESTMENT FIRM.

But, if fans could invest in the company, or in individual books, with a hope of a cash return, would you invest in Archie?
