Maybe the first issue has a lot more new material  than normal and thus costs more.  I can hope, anyway.

I get all of my new comics at 35% off and I get enough other stuff that the shipping is negligible.  It only comes out to a few cents per book.  So a $3.99 comic ends up costing me around $2.60.  I can live with that.

I'm working my way through my Image Comics backlog now.

I caught up on Black Magick, Thief of Thieves, They're Not Like Us and a few others.

I watched the first season of American Gods over the last few days.  It's a pretty good start to the adaptation of Neil Gaiman's classic novel.

Now I've started watching Orphan Black season 3 which I somehow missed.

I've been getting caught up on the comics that have piled up over the last 6 months or so.  I caught up with Oni, Action Lab and Joe Books and am now working my way through the various Archie titles.

All About Archie / Re: Archie circle logo

Archie changed to the circle logo in 1973 and that lasted for a year until they changed it again in 1974.  That logo lasted until 1982 when it was changed again.  Comic book companies seem to like changing their logos from time to time.  DC has done it quite a few times.

I'm reading a number of books at the moment.  I usually have anywhere from 3-6 books going at a time.

War of the Worlds by HG Wells (on cd in my car)

A Call to Arms by David Weber and Timothy Zahn (on cd when I'm working around the house)

Cauldron of Ghosts by David Weber and Eric Flint (audio on my iphone as I walk the dog or whatever)

Bookburners by various (an actual book book that I read on occasion before bed) - This contains 16 episodes, sort of like a tv series.  Each one is about 50 pages long.

The Mystery of the Million Dollar Penny (another actual book) - This is the fourth book in the Power Boys series.  This is a juvenile mystery series from the 1960s that I picked up at library book sales many years ago and never got around to reading.  They are simply okay, but read pretty quickly.
