I know it was  CW decision but it seems dumb to put a show on a break when it wasn't getting great ratings anyway.  You're risking people losing interest.  Hopefully that won't be the case!

I didn't hear that BettyReggie.  Is it confirmed that number 3 is the last by Adam Hughes? 

I hear a lot of complaining about the reboots and RIVERDALE, etc, but I'm genuinely curious.  How would people on this forum have done it differently? 


I love classic Archie as much as the rest of y'all.  Trust me on that.  In a perfect world, the original house style Archie would be the best selling comic books in the world.  I think they should be.  They're my favorite comics of all time.  However, they weren't selling much.  Something had to be done.  Archie Comics chose one way.  Seems like most of the people on this forum don't like it. 


So, how would y'all have done it?  Personally I don't have any ideas.  That's why I'm asking.


Full disclosure: I'm mostly happy with the reboots and the TV show.  They're not perfect, but I don't dislike them.   


Love to hear your ideas.

These were the only Archie titles I could find on February's sales charts. Wow!

I have a feeling it's going to be declared a mini-series too because the plot is moving so fast. I think they planned ahead for this in case it did not sell well. It seems like this is the fate of most 'Josie' projects after the original run anyway...sad.

Too bad if that happens because I'm really enjoying it.

I think it is.  It's the best show I've watched since 90210.  I realize it's not for everyone and that's fine.  Nothing is.

Josie is mean because of the pressure from her father I"m quite sure. 

I would miss mean Veronica more if I didn't love this version of her so much.  She's tied with Cheryl and Jughead as my favorite characters. 

Riverdale One Shot.  I liked the stories but the art was lacking.  I didn't really like how washed out the colors looked.

Well Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is the brains behind the show, even though he isn't writing all the episodes.  He's a TOTAL Archie geek and I'm quite sure he's read every issue of every Archie title ever!  Haha.


That's why there's been so many great easter eggs in this show. 

Though he is a super-fan, the characters are pretty much unrecognizable from their comic book counterparts, except Archie is still a bit of a jerk. That being said, it doesn't upset me. I'm just surprised I like Betty more than Veronica in this show. The Betty actress is hitting it out of the park, I have always found Betty to be boring since her personality makeover from crazy to all-around sweetheart straight-A student, but Lili Reinhart makes her more dimensional. I think the kiss between Betty and Jughead made sense even though it was surprising but I loved Betty's one-track mind and how she immediately focused back on the case.

Veronica is my favorite character but she is such a disappointment, to me, on this show.

That's so ironic because I'm not a Veronica fan in the comics but she's my favorite (tied with Cheryl) character on this show!  OH well, different strokes...
