Archie Comics tweeted the image of two scripts of season one of Riverdale!  Episode 2 is called "A TOUCH OF EVIL" and episode 3 is called "BODY DOUBLE".  It looks like 2 will focus on Cheryl messing with Archie, Betty, and Veronica's relationship.  3 seems to be centered around B&V, whether it's them arguing, switching places, testing their new friendship, or Veronica helping Betty stand up to her family.  All of the plots are speculation at this point.  Though guessing from the artwork on the scripts' cover pages, I'm probably onto something.  I'll post the pic in the next post because my phone keeps glitching.

All About Archie / Re: Is anybody excited for this?

I think that it'll be cool.  I love that Archie Comics is publishing an anniversary digest series.  I just hope there will be some stories focused on Betty & Veronica (my favorite characters) from the seventies & eighties or some completely new stories featuring the girls in the classic style. This is definitely a book I'lll look into buying. 😀

Hey, guys.  Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Family stuff.  I was wondering if there was ever a story where Betty or Veronica switch places, hair, personalities, lives, or bodies with Cheryl Blossom.  I mean, I read one where something similar happened, when Veronica spent a lot of time at Cheryl's country club -- but I was hoping something more of the lines I could post on my switcheroo scans.  If anyone knows of one, please reply.  Thanks in advance 😀

Salem is my favorite!  Especially the tv show version. It will always be part of my childhood. 😀

Does anyone no what happens in betty and veronica spectacular #6

It's a story called "The Princess & The Pauper" where Betty & Veronica switch places to go visit each other's relatives.  Betty goes to England and lives with Veronica's Royal aunt & uncle, while Veronica goes to work on a farm owned by Betty's aunt & uncle.  It's an okay story, but it's definitely not the best switcheroo story.  Hope this helps 😀

For the shipping part of this thread...

What story is this from? I'd like to read that.

I got it from a Betty and Veronica digest years ago, since I had the Archie digital subscription I was reading a ton in quick succession. I can give you a synopsis but I didn't record where I got it from, I think that info was on the old site.

Betty and Veronica want to audition for a play, Betty wants the Veronica-like role and vice-versa, but Ms. Grundy isn't convinced they can pull it off so they just use their acting chops in the real world.

That story sounds awesome!  I've always wanted to try the unlimited subscription, but never have.  Do you have scans/screenshots of the whole story?  If so can you post them on my Switcheroo Scans thread.  It sounds like it would be a perfect fit.

It couldn't be this one, could it?

The Betty Cooper, Betty Cooper stories always sounded so epic.  It's hard to believe that they were part of classic Archie.  Or even never made into a current "New Riverdale" or "Archie Horror" series.

There's a story called Genie Hi-Jinx on Betty and Veronica Spectacular #3 (also reprinted in B&V DD #113)where Betty and Veronica have just seen a movie called "Aladdin, That Arabian Dude" and they they see an old lamp at an antiques shop and Veronica likes it because it reminds her of the movie, so she buys it. They take it home and she rubs the lamp and out comes a genie named Horace. Anyway, Veronica wishes to have Archie as her servant to do everything she says (and to me that is a wasted wish since Archie already is her servant ::) ), so Betty goes to the antique shop and buys another lamp and out comes a female genie and of course Betty wishes to have Archie, and there starts a war of zapping and re-zapping Archie from one girl to the other.

That story sounds hilarious!  I'll have to buy that digest.  It's too good to pass up!  Thanks, 60sBettyandReggie

It is a funny story! And I found it funny that there is also another story in that same Double Digest and in the BV Spectacular where the girls are going to sell their lamps at the Riverdale High Flea Market  ;D  That story is not about the lamps anymore, but they do mention them at the beginning.

I wonder if Archie Comics did that on purpose or if they're trying to mess with the readers to see is we'd notice the connection?  Either way, I can't wait to read it!

Story Help / B&V story where they meet a genie?
May 29, 2016, 06:02:17 PM
I know that there's a new "classic" style B&V story appearing in June's B&V Double Digest, where they meet a genie, called "Sand-Wishes".  It made me wonder if there was any other B&V stories where the girls meet a genie.  I mean there's been so many versions of this type of story in all forms of media, they've had to have had this happen before at some point, right?
