The big news today is that "at least one major Riverdale resident" is going to be killed off in Archie #20 and the identity of that character will be revealed in Archie #21.

Archie #20 will feature a drag race between Archie and Reggie on Dead Man's Curve. In #21, the people of Riverdale will learn that someone will die in that drag race!!

Will it be Archie Andrews? Maybe Kevin Keller wanders onto the street and Archie jumps out his own vehicle to save his friend from death!!

Will it be Reggie Mantle? Maybe Riverdale's resident bad-boy will swerve to avoid Hot Dog or Vader and hit a tree!!

Or maybe one of them will hit another Riverdale regular!! Moose... Midge... Dilton... Jason... Cheryl... Jellybean... Mr. Weatherbee... Ms. Grundy... Mr. or Mrs. Andrews...

Who do you think will die in this upcoming storyline?

Personally, I think it would be more of a game-changer in multiple ways if one of the boys lost a parent (or both) as a result of their drag race.

More "Iron Fist" this afternoon. Now I'm watching an episode of "The Great British Baking Show."

Overall, I disliked episode #7.  There are certainly problems in the series. There needs to be less focus on the adults. There is no doubt that this show failing is bad for Archie Comics though.

Is it failing? It's been renewed for a second season.

I'm watching a depressing episode of "My 600-lb Life."

I'm watching "Holy Hell" on Netflix. Documentary about living in the Buddhafield cult.

That's true. It's not uncommon for shows to take short breaks mid-year. For example, Legends of Tomorrow and Flash both recently had breaks in their weekly programming schedule.

FWIW, "Mama June: From Not to Hot" has better ratings. So ratings aren't everything when it comes to quality...  ::)

1 day & 4 Hours & 49 Minute & 49 Seconds till Thursday 3/2/17- & Riverdale - Chapter Six: Faster, Pussycats! Kill! Kill! at 9 pm.

There are a couple of new musical previews featuring Veronica & the Pussycats and Archie & Valerie today on YouTube. Good stuff, especially the Pussycat song.

No comics coming out this week from my pull-list. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to get the Riverdale one-shot comic.

Looking forward to episode 6 of "Riverdale" on Thursday night. :)

All About Archie / Re: Is It Worth Watching "Riverdale?"

"Riverdale" has been on for about a month or so now, and I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I saw the trailer and made some assumptions about it. Mostly, I assumed that it was a teen drama based on Archie characters, not a TV show bringing Archie to life. I intended on watching it but didn't prioritize it.
However, some of my friends- most of whom haven't read Archie comics in years- seem to love the show. In fact, everyone I know who has watched it has said that it is great.
I'm curious about what the reaction is from fans of the comics. Without spoiling the show- because I will watch it at some point- can I get some opinions about whether "Riverdale" is good or not?

If everyone that you know likes it, then there's a good chance that you will like it. Just remember that these are not exact duplicates of the characters that you know from the comics. They are templates of the characters. Some are more similar than others. I've been enjoying the Betty & Veronica friendship, the stuff with Jughead, the stuff with Kevin, and the whole murder mystery/Cheryl storylines much more than the Archie stuff (his relationship with Grundy, his song-writing, the Pussycats, etc.).

You should be able to watch the episodes on the CW website. Check them out. More likely than not, you'll get hooked. -Jon
