A sad Jughead story in my first album just added.  :( Plus a Dipsy Doodle. Enjoy!  :D

A whole buncha stuff added to my second album, with several (hopefully) pretty good stories (like Jughead meeting his cousin Bingo), and some more digest covers! Enjoy!  :D

I am REALLY confused....  ???

It just an anagram that followed a one year late reply and an observational post.   :)

Oh, okay...  8)

So if They either Kill Reggie or Betty, so we never see them again in Archie comic again right? I think it could be Betty. Because Archie looks like he is crying on the cover. He wouldn't cry over Reggie.

I certainly could see Archie crying over Reggie for one reason, if nothing else: Guilt about his role in his death....

See, here's the thing we need to take into account... it's been a couple of years now since we've seen a new story written or drawn by anyone but Dan Parent. Now all of a sudden we see one credited as written by Dan, but drawn by an artist who we haven't seen a new story from in a couple of years -- Bill Galvan. Now, it's possible they may just have overlooked that one somehow when they were clearing the inventory of already paid-for work, but I don't think so. Notice that for the last six months, all of the digests released in any given month follow some kind of theme. In this round of solicitations the digest theme is "Back-To-School", which is as good an excuse as any for a story starring Dilton Doily. That indicates to me that Dan wrote a bunch of themed back-to-school stories for the digests, and drew all of them but one. Maybe he needed some help, because he's busy working on DIE KITTY DIE, YOUR PAL ARCHIE, plus the usual 5-page digest stories and covers... and he didn't draw the covers this month either. They may be old covers they just found that hadn't been used yet, but even so... I think that "How Shocking" 5-pager is a for-real, newly-commissioned art job by Bill Galvan. Either that or the credit is a typo... :(

I follow Bill Galvan on Facebook.  This is indeed new work for him.  He's been posting that he's doing covers and digest stories for Archie.
That's great! I'd love to see some new stories done by Jeff Shultz for Archie as well, not just from Super Suckers....

Archie's Funhouse Back to School Annual #27
IT'S BACK TO SCHOOL for our DOUBLE DIGESTS! In the ALL-NEW story "How Shocking," one of Dilton's lab experiments goes awry (thanks to Archie), and things get REALLY weird!

Script: Dan Parent
Art: Bill Galvan
Cover: Pat and Tim Kennedy
On Sale Date: 8/2
192-page, full color comic
$5.99 U.S.

Did they find an older previously-commissioned (but never published) story hidden in a drawer somewhere, or is Bill Galvan getting new assignments from ACP to help take the load off Dan Parent, since he's now working on Your Pal, ARCHIE ??

Don't take this the wrong way, because I absolutely LOVE what Dan Parent does. But if this means other classic Archie creators besides Dan are now getting new work assignments from ACP, it's the best news I've heard in a long time!
Cold water time.  :( Could be ACP just had these covers on file for a long while, and are just now releasing them...

My second album has some stuff uploaded! Usually, Jughead and Archie teaming up on Reggie leaves Reggie looking like a fool, but not this time! Plus, some Betty and Ronica, and a "scary" Josie and the Pussycats story! Enjoy!  :D

Just in case anyone didn't see my reply to the other topic about the issues, everything should be fixed now. The post form being broken was due to a server setting that was somehow messing up the URLs, and the security error was due to a hidden setting related to the addon that rewrites the URLs.

Got a new problem for you, sorry. You know in the albums where you have "newer" or "older" at the bottom of a page panel where you can go to the next or previous page panel? Well, some pages have them, and others don't. One has to go back to an album page with the 24 panels, then click on a panel, as opposed to clicking through the pages...

Hm. I can't seem to modify my last post. I wanted to add that I also liked Dr. Zin's turn against F.E.A.R. for his safety. He and Dr. Quest made a dynamite team when they work together....

I'd like to add that I liked the origin of Zandor and Tara with the machines taking over their planet, and they had to go to their twin planet, becoming deliberately anti-technological. Rats. I forgot which one was the jungle planet (Amzot?), and the technological advanced one (Quasar?). And I CANNOT believe Shazzan would lose. He's a genie. They have god-like powers. In fact, he'd wipe Omnicron into nothingness.

Couldn't remember! Did you know the "search" function no longer works? I was going to find the thread and mention the reprinted story there, but...  :(
Nah. I really never have used it...  :P
