Title: Old '60's - '70's Story
Post by: tommythev on June 14, 2016, 07:02:42 PM
Eons ago when the world was young I had a comic and as I remember it for some reason, Jughead caused everyone to speak in rhyme.

IIRC, on the cover someone says "Juggie has an evil power" and someone else says "Sauer, bower, Eiffel Tower"

My sister and I have said this to each other innumerable times over the years, and as a gag I would like to find a copy of this comic, but alas, browsing thru pictures of old copies on the Internet has been fruitless. Anyone sufficiently immersed in Archie comic lore to help me out? Hope so!

Thanks for reading

Thanks so much for the answer.

The story RHYME WITHOUT REASON sounds like it, but I would have sworn up and down that it was featured on the cover. THE RHYME SUBLIME has the same theme, so that might be it too.

Also the issue seems too early. I was six when  RHYME WITHOUT REASON was printed. I wonder if it was reprinted before the listed reprints, which are, alas too late.

I will have to get my hands on both the issues.

Thanks again.
