Hi everyone,

I was lurking around the forum for a day or two before deciding to join up;  From what I have read it seems like a great group, friendly and free of the nonsense I sometimes see on other forums.

I am in Canada (southern Ontario) and have been reading Archie on and off for 30 some odd years.  Things have come full circle in a way;  My mother used to listen to the radio show, my sister and I read stacks of double digests when were growing up;  Now my teenage daughter and I are enjoying Riverdale together.  If that doesn't prove the timeless nature of these characters, I don't know what does!  My Mum and sister are sadly no longer with me, however it is comforting to still have the memories and to know there are some things that are still with us, more or less unchanged after all these years.

I have always had a soft spot for Betty, my daughter is hoping she will eventually end up with Jughead (who seems to be the favourite with her and her friends at school)!

Thank you for having me,

Are you watching RiverDale?

Yes I am watching Riverdale, my daughter has watched the first 2 episodes about 10 times each.  I am genuinely impressed by the show and I look forward to watching each week!

Hi There,

Not a favourite era per se, but I have always enjoyed the 60's stories.  (which were reprinted several times over in the digests).  I bought the best of the 50's and 60's and treasure them.  You will have to forgive me, I have been away for a while from comics and I am catching up.  The new Betty and Veronica looks pretty interesting, as does the new Jughead title.  As for artists,  I still love the original work of Bob Montana, it is timeless and classic.  On the other end of the spectrun I think Francesco Francavilla is fantastic.
