  • Jabroniville: Yeah, that's odd- Thor usually has the Hammer out in front. Though I don't think it's ever explained how he can throw it while in mid-flight and not just plummet like a goof. I wish artists would stop having him do things like that :)

  • Steveinthecity: @Biolante:  Thor uses the hammer to fly. He can throw his hammer during flight and float in one spot until the hammer returns to him. Don't know what Joe Q. was thinking there. I've never seen Thor fly on his own.

So many really good titles to choose from. I really have to get to the comic store soon. Hopefully I will get over my Bronchitis and be able to get some this weekend.

This month has got a ton of titles that were nice. I also love Veronica's bathing suit on the Betty Comic.

Aww, no one can tell me which comic in this thread is being praised for having the great swimsuit cover?

This one (courtesy of Comixology):

I need to contact Archie Comics to find out why they killed the directory with all the cover art in it. From now on I guess I'll just have to host the images here instead to ensure they don't suddenly vanish like that.

Wow, that's the raciest legit pic of Ronnie I have yet seen (as opposed to Decarlo's unofficial sketches).  Thanks a billion! Gonna save it in my gallery.

But here's what made me so confused. Look at what I have, straight off the Archie app in my iPhone. I bought this one the other day:

I did a bit more searching and it looks like the cover art got changed at some point between when the issue was originally announced and the time it was actually released. The swimsuit art is now going to grace the cover of issue 199, due out in early March (this was part of the February 2012 solicitations which I haven't had time to post yet):

I noticed a similar instance with B & V Friends...they accidentally mislabeled the upcoming issue #221 as #222, and as a result, we had two different issues labelled 222!

I don't think this is a case of mis-labeling though, as the November releases were announced a couple months before the February ones were. They just decided to switch to a Christmas cover at some point in the two-month period between the issue's announcement and the issue's release.

That Dan Parent cover not being used was a huge cop out.  So disappointed when I saw Santa's sleigh and an Archie plush instead.  >_>

Ok, just to correct my earlier reply, I got issue 199 with the swimsuit cover today.  Guess I was kind of confused by the above discussion.  But I'm really glad it did come out.  Love that shot of Ronnie in her super hot bikini.   :smitten:  lol
