Refresh History
  • DeCarlo Rules: Presumably with an ongoing B&V series, they'd want to keep it nominally in continuity with the ongoing ARCHIE title.

  • DeCarlo Rules: Oh, I hadn't noticed that the story is "Senior Year", so that explains it. It's a one-off story arc, just like "Freshman Year". They're not going to keep them as seniors permanently, or have them graduate and go on to college in an ongoing series.

  • DeCarlo Rules: Probably just a space-filler while they look for a better writer than Jaime Rotante. I hope.

  • DeCarlo Rules: It seems like they put extras on a disc because people expect them, or it helps drive sales, but more often than not, it seems like very little thought goes into the content. Of course there are some examples where the extras are exceptional, but usually that's not the case.

  • irishmoxie: I love digital movies and streaming. I usually get the Blu-ray Disc because I like to watch the extras the first time and then end up adding the digital code online or rip it and put it on the hard drive. Just much more convenient to stream it then search for the disc when I want to watch it.

  • DeCarlo Rules: On the other hand, maybe I should just bypass the Blu-Ray format altogether, buy a huge terabyte HD, and download everything. There's something to be said for that, in that you can get everything quicker and stacks of Blu-Ray cases aren't taking up space in your house, I guess.

  • DeCarlo Rules: This coming from a guy who still hasn't capitulated to the inevitable domination of Blu-Ray. It's getting to the point where I might have to relent, since I've seen some anime sets being released for the first time on Blu-Ray (no combo pak) with NO release of a DVD version.
    August 27, 2018, 03:09:15 pm
  • DeCarlo Rules: I'll never get used to people not being able to wait a few days when they order stuff online. I guess maybe I could understand it IF it were something that there was no other way to see, but I assume you've already seen the episodes.  People who are that impatient usually don't even buy disc sets, they just buy it digitally or stream it.

In the "Post reply" dialogue box, you click on the image icon (far left second row, right below the bold icon) and paste the URL for the image location there. If you're adding an image from one of you media folders (what used to be called galleries), then you'll need to go to the folder where that image is located first, find the image and click on it to display it, and then right-click on the image (DON'T click on "click to zoom in") and choose "copy link location", before pasting that URL into the box that pops up when you click on the image icon in the "Post reply" dialogue box.

Well no wonder, I don't have right clicking. Thanks anyway, I'm gonna have to figure something else out.

Well, if there's any way you can open the image from your folder in its own tab, then you can copy the link from that tab.

If you just want to add images to posts and not images to an album here, then you can always upload the image first to tinypic or photobucket, etc and then copy the img link and paste it on the post.

I need to try that. I tried copying a pic from an album to paste it on a post the other day but it looked really small, so I just ended uploading it to tinypic instead. I miss the old gallery system. It was easier because it had the img code. This new one doesn't have it.

If it looked small, it's probably because you clicked on "Copy image location", NOT "Copy link location". If the image as you were looking at it on the page where you copied the location from wasn't at its maximum display resolution, then you're copying the image location of the smaller version of that image, whereas "Copy link location" always connects back to the location of the full-sized image.

You can easily test what you copied to make sure it's the correct full sized image by opening up a new browser tab and pasting what you copied in the address bar. If it displays the image at the correct size in its own tab, then it will display the correct image when you paste that same address into the popup for "insert image" in the Reply box.

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain, but what can you do. BTW, I just checked and the old HTML code for IMG [using brackets] still works too.

If you're on a Mac with a single-button mouse, just click and hold to get the functionality you'd get from right-clicking.

What I did was I clicked on BB Code that's on the right side and that's why it came out small.
I was just testing it out again, now doing it the way you mentioned and it worked! Thanks :)

It shouldn't be any smaller than the regular image to my knowledge. There's no setting to change how large the shared item is, but I'll take a look and see if I can figure out how to change it if it's not sharing them full size.
