Post by: Leah on May 22, 2016, 10:27:50 PM
Anyone know how I can contact someone who has drawn official Archie art that would accept a commission?  :smitten:

You should email Fernando who did a beautiful Reggie for me. I wanted a picture of Reggie that was from Life With Archie. Life With Archie is favorite Archie Publication. And Dan Parent did 2 awesome commissions for me. One of Archie, I asked him to draw Archie in the new style. And another commission was Reggie sitting on Harper's Lap. Gisele did a Reggie was a similar to the cover that she did for Archie Meets The Ramones. I also asked 2 other artists to do commissions for me. Gabbie Gross did one of Betty & Reggie which was scene from Archie #1. And lastly Thomas Pitilli who is great Artist who done a couple of covers for Archie. And he did one for Jughead. I asked him to draw Reggie for me and he never drew Reggie before. But what he gave me was awesome. I gave him the idea of having Reggie looking in the mirror but he reflection is one where he sad because he feels like the black sheep of group but he has to put on a happy face.

Can you post these so we can see them? Or if you have already point me to them?

You can post a message for Dan Parent over on his website, giving him a general idea of what you have in mind (head shot, full length figure, multiple figures, background, etc.) and ask him what he'd charge for it.

...or just contact him directly, that might be faster.

You could also try Fernando Ruiz at fernandoruizeverybody.com (http://fernandoruizeverybody.com). I think he charges about $100 for a character which is probably the going rate for most longtime Archie artists. Oh I see BettyReggie already recommended him, well I secnd it.

Those 2 pictures in my signature are small commissions by Gabbie Gross. The one of Jughead & Reggie were a small picture of them having a fight because they really don't get along. The one of Betty & Reggie was done in the style of Archie #1 but they are kissing.
