DeCarlo Rules: They never say things like "cancelled". Things just come to an end. ARCHIE #713 came out six months ago, and there have been no new issues solicited since then...

DeCarlo Rules: It seems like my prediction of the ARCHIE series launched in 2015 came true... it lasted 5 years (or 47 issues, which would have been 4 years if it were published monthly). Oh well -- that was four issues more than Manga SABRINA...

Great Gazoo

It's so freaking cold outside today so that put me in a Christmas mood. I am going to read a digital exclusive of Archie's Christmas Stocking.

I've noticed that a lot of the AC are not on their catalog anymore. I guess, someone is stealing them?

Could be that, because ACP is letting their older TPBs go out of print and not reprinting them (except for maybe a few, like Best of Archie Comics and The Married Life). That makes the older TPBs harder to find, and copies for sale begin to have "collectible" prices when you can.

Sorry but what are TPBs?

Also possible that they are just old and undesirable by the library's standards and put on "sale" carts to raise money, or beat-up by younger patrons and not deemed worth replacing

Hmm, I don't know. I've never seen them on the library's book store but who knows. I wish they sold some of them at the library, I would buy them right away.

In comics, a trade paperback (often shortened to TPB, TP or trade) is a collection of stories originally published in comic books, reprinted in book format, usually capturing one story arc from a single title or a series of stories with a connected story arc or common theme from one or more titles.
