Probably nothing. Don't know if it was mentioned before the meltdown...

Isn't she too old do that show?

Maybe's it's called "Sabrina the Soccer Mom Witch"?  :D

old_jughead

It will be a spin-off of the new Riverdale series and be called "Sabrina the Teenage Supermodel".

No. This would be a continuation of the old ABC sitcom, like of like "Fuller House."

She was on the Today show last week promoting something else and they asked her about the possibility of the Sabrina show coming back,  but she said it was probably not likely to happen.

Fuller House is a disaster of TV cancer, so not a good parallel to draw to for a comparison.

And yet it was largely well received by old fans of the original series and others. The same could happen with "Sabrina" or "Clarissa Explains It All."

You're out of touch.  It was mocked brutally online and it received the worst reviews of the season.  The Olsen twins weren't in it, because they're not stupid enough to be associated with a turkey.  Sometimes the market makes the right decision.  There's a reason why junk like this went to Netflix, which I guess is now the DTV version of TV.

I watched Clarissa Explains It All, but no one even remember that show exists.  May as well bring back Hey Dude or Denver the Last Dinosaur or some other garbage from the TV dust bin of time.

I think Sabrina has more mainstream recognition, but I still don't think this will happen. Maybe people at Archie Comics though are desperate to bring it back since there's pretty good odds the Riverdale pilot might not get picked up for more episodes.

joniniowacity

Okay. I'm out of touch. My son's been telling me that for a few years. No big surprise there.

But if they're truly going to do a new season of "Sabrina" with Melissa Joan Hart and the others from the ABC sitcom, I'm not sure how else they would do it except in a way similar to "Fuller House."

joniniowacity

And while I'd love to see an update of the sitcom, Melissa Joan Hart has seemed noncommittal and I've heard nothing from any of the other main "Sabrina" actors. So I'm not holding my breath.

But I agree that the people at Archie would probably love to see this reboot or whatever happen.

Mazz

Haven't heard anything lately on the rebooted Sabrina show with Melissa Joan Hart and other cast members from the original show. Melissa though really doesn't have much going on as she has finished a movie called Gods Not Dead 2 that I guess flopped.

Jabroniville

It probably doesn't help the show's chances that Hart has become a kind of joke in Hollywood- she was INFAMOUSLY nasty during the filming of Sabrina (there's a reason her "dorky friend" kept changing over the years), and she got a lot of egg on her face when her Patreon project (aka "fund my stupid vanity project for me!") failed to earn nearly enough money.
