I feel like there's another real story where Veronica is changing in a cabana and the cabana falls down and she's topless.

I remember a story where Veronica's mom had these old fashioned bathing suits. Betty & Veronica & Ethel & other girls put them . The boys hated them so the girls went in the water & the suits were so old that just came apart. Plus Veronica's mom was wearing one too but it fell apart & she was naked in the pool.

you are definetly correct.  I remember this one.  I was re-reading a whole bunch of old digests a few weeks ago, and remember this story.  reminded me of the beginning of a porno (not that I know what porno is )

Depends on your sense of humor I guess. Now, if Mr. Lodge had been left pantsless, that would have been kind of funny. Armless and legless, not as funny, according to my sense of humor.
