On the subject of used bookstore chains, the only one I know of here in the states (or at least in my part of the country) is Half Price Books, and I've only found Archie Comics there once (I bought a bunch of digests for $1 a pop the one time I did find them there). Most of the time they just have back issues of various DC and Marvel titles (and the like) - all the "popular" titles that people supposedly want to buy these days (I've never gotten into Marvel or DC and don't understand why those have so much more of a following than Archie does).

I'm actually a bit surprised at all the hype this pilot is getting because The CW isn't a big network, nor has it ever been. They've had some hits over the years, but it's been a while to my knowledge.

Mine refers to my love of Oldies music. The extra "n" on the end is a bit of creativity on my part. When I came up with this name in high school, I wanted something I could use across the net without there being any chance that someone else had already taken it. "Oldiesman" and similar nicknames are quite popular, and I was taking German in high school at the time, so I changed "man" to its German equivalent.

That remains one of my favorite Archie stories. Absolutely hilarious.

"See Albums" shows all the members who have created albums along with how many they've created. If you click on your name you'll see the three you've made. You can also hover over "My Media" in the menu and click "My Albums" to see all of them.

We could probably start a whole topic about obscure Riverdale High faculty members. There have been dozens of random ones over the years - some who only appear for one story and others who appear whenever they're needed (such as guidance counselor Mr. Meeks).

They're bringing in a new artist, at least temporarily, for Jughead. I still wish they'd just use Dan or Fernando instead. Both have proven they can draw the "new" style just as well as the classic style.

How about Ophelia Glutenschnable, who was basically a predecessor to Big Ethel?

She has to show up at some point. It'll be fun to see what they do with her.

I still need to catch up on Jughead. I haven't read the last three issues yet.

I prefer classic Archie as well and miss the classic-style "floppies". If they wanted to introduce a reboot, they could easily do that without getting rid of long-time artists or all but eliminating new classic stories.

Permissions on the shoutbox have been fixed. In the future please send me a PM about issues like this instead of starting topics. I'll see it faster.

On that note, please stop with the arguments. It's getting old real fast.
