  • DeCarlo Rules: Presumably with an ongoing B&V series, they'd want to keep it nominally in continuity with the ongoing ARCHIE title.
    September 22, 2018, 07:03:48 am
  • DeCarlo Rules: Oh, I hadn't noticed that the story is "Senior Year", so that explains it. It's a one-off story arc, just like "Freshman Year". They're not going to keep them as seniors permanently, or have them graduate and go on to college in an ongoing series.

  • DeCarlo Rules: Probably just a space-filler while they look for a better writer than Jaime Rotante. I hope.

  • DeCarlo Rules: It seems like they put extras on a disc because people expect them, or it helps drive sales, but more often than not, it seems like very little thought goes into the content. Of course there are some examples where the extras are exceptional, but usually that's not the case.

  • irishmoxie: I love digital movies and streaming. I usually get the Blu-ray Disc because I like to watch the extras the first time and then end up adding the digital code online or rip it and put it on the hard drive. Just much more convenient to stream it then search for the disc when I want to watch it.

  • DeCarlo Rules: On the other hand, maybe I should just bypass the Blu-Ray format altogether, buy a huge terabyte HD, and download everything. There's something to be said for that, in that you can get everything quicker and stacks of Blu-Ray cases aren't taking up space in your house, I guess.
    August 27, 2018, 03:19:15 pm
  • DeCarlo Rules: This coming from a guy who still hasn't capitulated to the inevitable domination of Blu-Ray. It's getting to the point where I might have to relent, since I've seen some anime sets being released for the first time on Blu-Ray (no combo pak) with NO release of a DVD version.
    August 27, 2018, 03:09:15 pm
  • DeCarlo Rules: I'll never get used to people not being able to wait a few days when they order stuff online. I guess maybe I could understand it IF it were something that there was no other way to see, but I assume you've already seen the episodes.  People who are that impatient usually don't even buy disc sets, they just buy it digitally or stream it.

Story Help / Veronica switches places with a maid
« on: November 12, 2017, 04:01:34 pm »
Hey, everyone!  Sorry I haven't been on the site in a while.  I've been busy with my first year of college.  But, I finally have some free time to read some comics and there's one I was searching for since before I started classes.  I read about this story where Veronica doesn't want to go to some party and switches identities with a maid that looks just like her.  I can't seem to find this story anywhere.  So, if anyone knows the name of this story or where I can find it, please let me know.

Happy holidays

I that I'd start this thread to retell all the times that Betty (while trying to sabotage it) actually helped Archie and Veronica's relationship.  Anyone can post this type of story on this thread.  So — here's one called "MATCH ME!" Part 1-4

Does anyone know of any classic Archie, B&V, or Jughead hypnosis stories?  I've always loved this trope, whether it was on Giligan's Island, Mister Ed, The Flintstones, or The Suite Life on Deck.  You know me, I prefer B&V stories, but I'm also a fan of Jughead.  So almost any type of hypnosis stories are welcome.  I'm just looking for something funny (and free) to read.  Thanks in advance

Story Help / Magical Stories Starring Betty & Veronica
« on: January 07, 2017, 12:17:04 pm »
Does anyone know of any B&V stories where the girls encounter magic?  Like witches, magical artifacts, or warlocks?  I know that there's one where Veronica finds a wishing pendant and where the girls find a genie, but I'm looking for something new (or old, I guess) to read.   The only stories that I seem to find are ones involving Sabrina and no offense to my favorite teenage witch, I kinda want something where B&V are in the spotlight.  Thanks in advance

Story Help / Betty & Veronica play opposite parts in a a school play story?
« on: September 18, 2016, 02:37:24 pm »
I'm looking for a story that was in one of the older B&V double digest, where Riverdale High is having a school play and Betty wants to play the Veronica-Type part and Veronica wants to play the Betty-Type part.  So, to prove that they can basically play each other's parts, the girls switch personalities for a while.  I've been looking for this story for a while with no luck.  If anyone has this story please post some scans.  I've been dying to read it.  Thanks in advance. 😀

Archie Comics tweeted the image of two scripts of season one of Riverdale!  Episode 2 is called "A TOUCH OF EVIL" and episode 3 is called "BODY DOUBLE".  It looks like 2 will focus on Cheryl messing with Archie, Betty, and Veronica's relationship.  3 seems to be centered around B&V, whether it's them arguing, switching places, testing their new friendship, or Veronica helping Betty stand up to her family.  All of the plots are speculation at this point.  Though guessing from the artwork on the scripts' cover pages, I'm probably onto something.  I'll post the pic in the next post because my phone keeps glitching.

Story Help / Veronica or Betty Switch Lives With Cheryl Blossom Issue?
« on: August 08, 2016, 11:55:37 pm »
Hey, guys.  Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Family stuff.  I was wondering if there was ever a story where Betty or Veronica switch places, hair, personalities, lives, or bodies with Cheryl Blossom.  I mean, I read one where something similar happened, when Veronica spent a lot of time at Cheryl's country club -- but I was hoping something more of the lines I could post on my switcheroo scans.  If anyone knows of one, please reply.  Thanks in advance 😀

Story Help / B&V story where they meet a genie?
« on: May 29, 2016, 06:02:17 pm »
I know that there's a new "classic" style B&V story appearing in June's B&V Double Digest, where they meet a genie, called "Sand-Wishes".  It made me wonder if there was any other B&V stories where the girls meet a genie.  I mean there's been so many versions of this type of story in all forms of media, they've had to have had this happen before at some point, right?

Hey, guys.  I've recently read a one of the pep digital Halloween specials and it had a story where Betty & Veronica had a masquerade party and dressed up as each other for it.  So, it made me wonder if there were any other B&V stories where the girls pretended to be each other for Halloween.  I've only found one so far and was wondering if there were anymore out there.  So, if anyone can knows of stories like that please let me know where to find them or post some scans.  Thanks in advance :)

All About Archie / Betty & Veronica Switcheroo Scans 2.0
« on: April 24, 2016, 11:42:11 am »
Hey, guys!  Since my original forum post was erased, I thought that I would start up a new version it with all new scans!  So, this page will be the home for every story where B&V switch bodies, places, lives, homes, hairstyles, clothes, or hair colors.  If anyone has something that they'd like to contribute -- go right ahead.

Here's "Satisfaction Guaranteed"

I just saw the news on Twitter and Archie Comics themselves said that the new B&V series will come out in July!   And the variant comics look awesome!

Hey, I'm trying to find all the times that Betty & Veronica tried on eac others hairstyles and I'm not talking about the "Farwell Betty & Veronica" story.  I mean stories where they keep their same hair colors.  I had some stories scanned on my phone, but lost them when my phone crashed.  I'm trying to rescan them, but even then it's only three stories.  So, I thought we could all post some stories with that theme here.
