  • irishmoxie: I think they just want you to use comiXology. I prefer the kindle app to comiXology. Much easier to swipe through pages.
    March 06, 2018, 01:49:17 PM
  • DeCarlo Rules: Maybe there's some slight modification to the PDF files they use in the ComiXology app to adapt it to feature-specific things in Amazon's Kindle reader app, and that takes a little while for them to convert the files? Just a wild guess.
    March 05, 2018, 06:20:53 AM
  • Vegan Jughead: That's weird since Amazon owns Comixology.
    March 03, 2018, 08:20:53 PM
  • irishmoxie: A lot of times Amazon's digital comics' releases are later than Comixology's.
    March 03, 2018, 11:51:24 AM
  • Tuxedo Mark: Yeah, it's the digital version.
    March 03, 2018, 08:34:18 AM
  • DeCarlo Rules: Oh, and if you're talking about the digital version, then it might have a different release date, too. Amazon's digital comics are really ComiXology's digital comics. Amazon owns ComiXology. Most publishers have a same-day-and-date print & digital release policy, but ACP's might be different, or it could just be an odd fluke.

  • DeCarlo Rules: Comic book shops gor VIXENS #4 on February 28th. Sometimes Amazon may get products on a different date, because the bookseller market is serviced by a different distribution system. Could be later, or sometimes, earlier, but usually only by a few days or a week.
    March 02, 2018, 11:42:37 AM
  • Tuxedo Mark: Amazon doesn't have #4 as coming out until the 7th. Did you get it early via subscription?

All About Archie / Story Jumps In Newest Archie Jumbo Digest
« on: February 16, 2018, 11:37:42 PM »
Anybody else got this? It's the one where The Gang are following Ronica around the world to ski resorts. I've seen this before in other Archie digests. Why doesn't ACP make sure they're giving us the stories in their whole form? Somebody's not editing right. I mean, we've seen words being misspelled and such, but splitting stories is outright incompetence....  >:(

Anybody here watch it? Man, I tell you, to me this is the best animated show on tv. Can't wait to see more of Evil Morty....

All About Archie / "Unknown Artists"
« on: July 07, 2017, 11:36:46 PM »
I was reading two Archie stories in a row, and both had "unknown" under the artist and/or pencilled credit. How in the world could ACP not know who did the artwork? It just seems odd...

All About Archie / Quick Jughead Digest Questions....
« on: May 11, 2017, 02:10:48 PM »
...Are "Jughead" and "Jughead Jones" digests of the same title, or different ones? If so, did ACP add the last name to distinguish them from each other, and what were the differences? Just wondering, thanks....

All About Archie / You Can Say What You Want...
« on: March 25, 2017, 06:27:56 AM »

... But Shazzan the cartoon has something in common with Archie. Can you guess what it is? No Googling! 😎

Hint: It's two in common. Answer by 3 p.m. today, unless someone here guesses beforehand....

PS: Yeah, I changed the message. Some of you might not be up right now at this time, so I'll expand the deadline...  ;D

All About Archie / Need A Little Printing Help....
« on: December 21, 2016, 06:07:35 PM »
Hey, guys. I'm trying to print a few pages from an old Josie and the Pussycats story that I love to download here, but can't off my Madefire site. There seems to be nothing that I can use to print then scan it. What say you?  :coolsmiley:  Thanks in advance....

All About Archie / Quick Josie/Sabrina Question....
« on: December 05, 2016, 05:47:50 PM »
Have we ever seen them in the same story? I'm thinking there was a recent one done by Dan Parent at a fashion show where Ronica's mother had a rival for Mr. Lodge's affections from long ago, and she was helping the rival with the fashion show. Every teen female in the Archieverse was practically there. However, that's the only one I recall. Anybody have a story here? Just wondering, thanks....

General Discussion / Oh. My. GOD!! (For Real)

No, you're not seeing double with the topic. Dead serious, here, no soap or body wash. Welp. Trump's President-elect now. Our long national nightmare has just begun.  :uglystupid2: :knuppel2:  I want to know outside of Trump himself, who saw THIS coming? Discuss....

Body wash is so much better than soap in the shower!  :smitten: Where has it been all of my life?! It's so liquidy and foamy from the get go! Can't go back to the soap bar anymore, no sir!!  ;D

General Discussion / Yet Another 50th Anniversary Happening Today...
« on: September 10, 2016, 04:38:35 AM »
...Space Ghost made his debut on Saturday morning on CBS! The first of those classic Saturday morning non-animal heroes, Alex Toth's creation to me was great, and his rougue's gallery of villains  wasn't bad either. Couldn't get into Coast to Coast, though... ???

General Discussion / I'm Really Surprised No One Has Mentioned This Yet...
« on: September 08, 2016, 05:49:07 PM »
...But 50 years ago today, NBC premiered an unknown sci-fi series that was depicted by its creator, Gene Rodenberry as a "Wagon Train in space". "Star Trek" (the original series) made its debut! Happy 50th birthday ST:TOS! :)

Which is your favorite Star Trek TV, NOT movie, and why? I'll sit back and read everybody else's opinions before I write anything. Discuss! :)
