The long awaited return of Afterlife With Archie is finally here!

Those of you who have read it, what did you think?

This is issue was a big game changer, and also quite sad. I guess we now know what Betty R.I.P. means, but will Reggie succeed?

I'm actually quite surprised by the way Reggie is portrayed in these comics, he's straight up awful but I did feel bad the way no one wanted to go after him, showing that Archie is the only decent one in this series. I don't think it's fair that Reggie should be blamed for the zombie apocalypse, it was huge a-hole move to deliberately hit Hot Dog but he could not have foreseen what it would lead to. Yeah, it was a horrible and inexcusable but he was not a threat to anyone, and didn't do anything after the group of survivors formed, well, that is, until now.

There was a topic here previously about where we saw the gang in the future.

Do you think Betty was right? Where do you see or where would you like to see the gang in ten years when they're twenty-eight?

I, for one, think Betty was being petty here with Veronica. She lost Archie and her fortune? I think she'd be spending her time trying to her wealth back, not that there is anything wrong with owning and operating a dress shop. I just see young Veronica being more ambitious than that.

I agree with Betty on Moose and Midge though.

I saw a few members discussing the latest Simpsons episode that featured a joke with the Riverdale gang. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see it when I was watching last night's episode. Here are some screenshots:



They've glued a quarter to the sidewalk and successfully pranked Bart.

They become solemn as they remember Archie is dead.

Archie being dead was the funniest part of this segment. 

Unfortunately, I don't think this thread will ever be as epic as its original counterpart but I loved sharing those stories as Jughead and Veronica are a great comedic team, and of course because I am a shipper.

I'll start us off with a classic by Samm Schwartz. It perfectly captures their dynamic: their compelling need to be jerks and annoy one another.
